Strathcona County is a specialized municipality with nine hamlets - both urban and rural (Sherwood Park is the urban area.) The surrounding rural region is home to the communities of Antler Lake, Ardrossan, Collingwood Cove, Half Moon Lake, Hastings Lake, Josephburg, North Cooking Lake and South Cooking Lake. Strathcona is a specialized municipality working with urban and rural residents to govern as a single municipality. A welcoming place to live families thrive in Strathcona's dynamic, caring and safe community and strives to be a model of ecological integrity, protecting environment and preserving agricultural heritage.

Strathcona was in need of updating their image library (with a strong focus on their numerous recreational facilities and amenities.) With a clear vision in place we set out on a 2 day shoot visiting various locations throughout the county. Particular emphasis was needed on vibrant, eye catching, realistic photos of the facilities while utilizing actual Strathcona citizens in these spaces.
