Construction Photography 2 (featuring Carstar Construction Ltd and Chandos Construction)
What exactly is construction photography?
You have heard of commercial photography and corporate photography and you have probably also have heard about construction photography. So what exactly is construction photography? It is a pretty straight forward term as you might have guessed. Construction photography provides all the types of photographs you would need to market a construction business. This includes editorial images of staff, industrial images of equipment, architectural images, and aerial images of job sites. Many of the terms are interchangeable in photography mainly because they can be so closely related. Corporate and Commercial photography are broad terms covering many different types of photography and the term construction photography is not much different
Construction Photography for Carstar Construction Ltd & Chandos Construction
Below are some of the construction shoots we hadn't had a chance to blog about. These two clients you have most likely heard of and you have probably seen projects of theirs that we have featured throughout the last few years. Oddly enough Chandos Construction was our first real construction company client (at the time we specialized more in show home photography.) We were introduced to Chandos by an acquaintance of ours who, devastatingly, recently passed. Ryan Haynes was a wonderful human being and quite the connector here in Edmonton. We will always be so grateful to him and his contributions to the construction and infill community here in Edmonton are VAST. Carstar Construction Ltd, alternately, is a client we only met 2-3 years ago. Troy reached out to us and we made an instant working connection. We have so much respect for the work they do and the quality of build they put into every single project. It is an honor to shoot for these two amazing construction companies.
Caliber of work
What these two companies have in common is their caliber of work. I will let the photos speak for themselves! Our personal favorites in this blog is the El Mero Mero shoot directly below and the Wedgewood path as it isn't our typical building shoot. Although the Roxy Theatre featured here as well is beautiful...it is so loved that The Roxy Theatre was a big winner at the Consulting Engineers of Alberta Awards! Congratulations to everyone involved!
